Seafood and chicken paella? Masterfully presented and perfectly seasoned! I could murder a metaphor…
Best comment ever!
These are absolutely beautiful Mick – strangely familiar yet new at the same time, like an odd but very pleasing sense of deja vu. A wonderul reminder of my favourite all time comic pages-thanks!
Fantastic to see the whole thumbnails-to-pencils-to-inks process, Mick. How was it to be back on Slaine in strip format?
It was okay.
lovely work Mike, avoided your post here till i had read the story in print first, really smart witty story too.
Your pencilings are so tight, have you ever thought of just going with them over ink on a project?
Hope this wont be your last Slaine.
Thanks, James. I have just gone with pencils in the past (here), but find I can only make it work if I’m doing the colouring as well.
I love the latest cover as well, Mick (Prog 1848); any chance you can add some more pics of that one?
Just putting a post together now.
